MY STORY

God has given me experiences and insights into a racially unique life. I grew up in Woodstock, Georgia which was a nearly all white suburb of Atlanta. I went to play basketball at Middle Georgia College, where I was one of only a few white players on the team. After Junior College, I played basketball in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Oral Roberts University, where our team was ethnically diverse.

After my playing days were over, I stayed at Oral Roberts University as a Graduate Assistant Coach and would later become an Assistant Coach at Kennesaw State University before going into full time ministry in 2009.

This is just a glimpse into the path that God has made for me to be here with you right now. I believe that we cannot be fully empowered alone. To be who God wants us to be and do what God wants us to do, we need each other. Sometimes the "each other" we need are not those who look like us, think like us or live like us. This website is here to empower you, encourage you and maybe even challenge you to be intentional about loving God, your neighbor and yourself.

Thanks for checking out the website and let's stay connected! I would love to connect with you on social media!
